After nearly 20 years, the legendary game show Awantura o kasę returns to Polsat! This Saturday and Sunday, viewers can once again follow the competition as teams battle for the title of Champions and valuable prizes.
Awantura o kasę aired on Polsat from 2002 to 2005, quickly becoming a hit and drawing millions of viewers. Fans of the game show have eagerly awaited its return to television! The show will once again be hosted by the irreplaceable Krzysztof Ibisz, with production handled by ATM Grupa.
What will happen in the first episode?
Awantura o kasę is a game where time, strategy, knowledge, and, above all, team strength are key! In the premiere episode, three teams aiming for the title of Champions will compete:
The Blue Team – ANIMATORZY, a family group from Włocławek:
- Katarzyna – a bank customer advisor (mother)
- Kamil – a physiotherapist (son)
- Justyna – a nursing student (daughter), known for her boundless energy, which host Krzysztof Ibisz has dubbed “The Brave One.” She also works as a children’s party entertainer, inspiring the team’s name
- Piotr – a business owner and family friend
The Green Team – SANGRINITA, a group of friends from Wrocław:
- Maciej – a musicology student
- Wiktoria – a lawyer
- Wojciech – a lawyer
- Katarzyna – a medical student
The Yellow Team – LOŻA SZYDERCÓW, a crew of old school friends from Sochaczew:
- Sebastian – a construction entrepreneur
- Michał – a programmer
- Michał – a text automation specialist
- Bartek – a distribution coordinator.
Each team will compete in the first round, starting with 10,000 PLN each. The host spins a wheel to select a category, then opens bidding on a question, kicking off a suspenseful showdown. The prize? The chance to challenge the Champion Team in the second round.
The Champion Team – NIENASYCENI, features an intriguing figure – Robert, who previously competed in Awantura o kasę in 2002. He came close to winning then, but a poor strategic choice cost him victory. His team’s name, ”Nienasyceni” (The Insatiable), reflects their undying appetite for adventure and triumph. Will he succeed this time, armed with past experience? Can he defend the title of Champion?
The PREMIERE episode airs Saturday, October 5, at 5:30 PM on Polsat!
