“Policjantki i policjanci” almost triples its audience and hits 10% in the 16–49 demographic.

On May 11 at 7 p.m, TV4 aired the last episode of the second season of ATM Grupa S.A.’s hit series “Policjantki i policjanci” (Policewomen and Policemen). The premiere episodes of the second season drew an average 1.1 million viewers, with a peak audience of 1.316 million for the March 4 episode, and a 10% share in the 16–49 demographic on April 16. The second season, which kicked off on March 2, 2015, attracted an average of 1.1 million viewers, with the largest audience of 1.3 million tuning in on March 4, 2015. Since its launch on September 29, 2014, “Policjantki i policjanci” had been gaining viewers very fast. The first week’s audience of 500 thousand more than doubled in the fourth week! And after a few months – when the series aired its final episode – the viewership almost tripled! Since its first episode, “Policjantki i policjanci” had been boosting TV4 ratings as the channel’s most watched show.

“Policjantki i policjanci” is a fast-paced, suspenseful drama full of twists and turns that follows two police squads patrolling the streets of Wrocław. Every day the cops deal with family fights, robberies, drunk drivers and desperate lowlifes. As human life is often at stake, working for the Crime Prevention Unit at the City’s Police Headquarters is a thrilling ride.

In the second season, which aired from March 2 to May 11, 2015, the patrol team was strengthened by the addition of young and ambitious Sergeant Emilia Drawska, fresh from training in the US (Anna Kukawska), and junior inspector Adam Kobielak (Wiesław Cichy). Aired from Monday to Thursday at 7 p.m., the season offered twists, action and thrills aplenty. Before its first episode, viewers tuned in en masse to watch the feature movie “Policjantki i policjanci: pokój 112” (Policewomen and Policemen: Room 112), which provided an introduction to the second season, explaining, among other things, how Białach’s accident occurred.
