The fifteenth season of soap “First Love” has begun taping on new sets. The new episodes are slated to air on Polsat after the summer break.
The change of sets will be accompanied by changes in the lives of the characters. From the start of the new season there will be a lot going on in the life of Ola (Dominika Kojro), who will move back in with her parents. Sabina (Urszula Debska) will face w new challenge. Her friends will convince her to start her own business – she will become a designer and open a fashion house. Artur (Lukasz Ploszajski) will swap his flat for a larger apartment. Anna (Agnieszka Wlodarczyk) and Paweł (Mikolaj Krawczyk) will have had their studio redecorated. The couple will be trying to conceive a baby.
This is why the new sets include a nursery room. Not to mention that Marysia (Aneta Zajac) gave birth at the end of the previous season, which will provide plenty of action too. Kinga (Aleksandra Zienkiewicz) will have her second baby and two new men will appear in her life. The Smialeks’ house in Wadlewo will receive a face-lift too and the Barbarian Bar, the favorite meeting place of the lead characters, will be expanded. Alls this and more in the new episodes of “First Love” on Polsat in September.
“First Love” ended the spring season (Monday-Friday, Polsat, 8 p.m.) with a record high share in the 19-49 demographic. The final episode, aired on June 16, had a 38.8% share in the 16-49 age group claiming 2.4m viewers. “First Love” increased its share every month consistently dominating its time slot. Compared to spring 2010, the series’ audience grew by over 62 thousand. Its share in the 19-49 demographic grew by 10% and averaged 26.6%. For comparison, the competing series “Straight into the Heart”, airing on TVN, averaged 22.9% in the 16-49 age group, 14% less than “First Love”. The viewership of “First Love” in the 16-46 demographic in cities with over 100,000 residents was 20%, up 12% on 2010. Due to the previous season’s good ratings and continued interest online during the summer break, there is reason to believe that the series will continue its good run in the fall.
