Description

Tomek, an injured first-division goalkeeper and widower, hunts for a job to provide a better life for his daughter. Agata, a successful manager at an advertising agency and widow, looks for a housekeeper to take care of her house and her son. Barbara, Agata’s mother, runs into Tomek, who seems to be perfect for the job.

This is how the story begins. Who’s the Boss is based on the American sitcom by the same name which propelled ABC into first place among the major TV networks. The series is a multiple award winner and nominee for many TV awards, including the Golden Globe.

Tomek and his daughter move in with Agata. It soon becomes evident that their relationship goes beyond the purely professional. Tomek and Agata become friends and the line between the boss and the employee begins to blur. We follow the characters through many unusual and unpredictable situations. Credit for the verbal and situational humor goes to director Maciej Slesicki and writer Bartosz Wierzbieta. The stars, Malgorzata Foremniak and Boguslaw Linda, turn in great performances.
