Filming has started for the series “Breslau” – the first original Polish production for Disney+ and the first joint project between ATM Group, the series producer, and this globally reaching streaming platform. We hope it will be a successful collaboration!

About the Series

“Breslau” (working title) is an eight-episode crime series set in 1936 in Wrocław (formerly Breslau). Commissioner Franz Podolsky is investigating a brutal murder case. With the upcoming Olympic Games, the pressure to solve the mystery is immense…

– This is an important moment for Disney+ in Poland. It is our first original production in this part of Europe. We are very pleased that such esteemed, talented, and experienced creators and actors are involved in this project. The series is directed by Leszek Dawid (“Jesteś Bogiem,” “Ki”), with the script written by Bartosz Janiszewski and Magdalena Żakowska.

The main cast includes Tomasz Schuchardt (“Jesteś Bogiem,” “Chrzest”), Agata Kulesza (“Róża,” “Ida”), and Sandra Drzymalska (“IO,” “Filip”).

The series is produced by ATM Group.

The project is being realized in Poland with financial support from the Polish Film Institute, provided by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
